Mari King is a dedicated Cancer Journey Coach and founder of The Deliberate Coach, with over a decade of experience in health and wellness. She specializes in providing compassionate support to the LGBTQ+ community, guiding individuals through the unique challenges of cancer, survivorship, and caregiving. Her services are tailored to create a safe and inclusive space where clients can grow, heal, and thrive.
Through The Deliberate Coach, Mari empowers LGBTQ+ individuals to rewrite their stories, make intentional choices, and savor life’s joys. Combining positive psychology, holistic wellness, and human connection, she inspires transformation and confidence.
When not coaching, Mari dedicates time to volunteering, mindfulness, and nature, believing in the healing power of kindness, laughter, and harmony. Her intuitive approach enriches her practice, offering meaningful guidance to her clients.

Kacie Schady, founder of Love & Light Botanicals, left her corporate career in 2022 to pursue her vision of building a wellness brand that inspires positive change in her community. She identified the beauty industry as a space rich with opportunities to make an impact, particularly in reshaping the narrative around aging. For Kacie, aging is not something to combat but a celebration of life’s journey—a reflection of beautiful moments and memories that define us.
With Love & Light Botanicals, Kacie is challenging the deeply ingrained “anti-aging” mindset, rejecting language that promotes “reversing” or “erasing” the signs of age. Instead, she empowers others to embrace their natural beauty and see aging as a testament to living fully.
